Keeping Bookish and Dystopia

I've decided to use this old blog as a way to keep a list of books and possibly shows that I watch.   No commitments.  It may be just a list, but it will help me keep track.

In this post, I will highlight The Silent Sea.    Korean dramas have become significant in the US probably due to Netflix and other sources.  This one is a near-future dytopian science fiction series set on the moon.    It was confusing, which is why you can find lots of commentary on the ending.    I only watched bits and pieces of it; Kevin saw the whole thing through.

Continuing the plague- and dystopian- and husband theme, Kevin has also recently finished reading Earth Abides.   He liked it because it was set in the Sierra Nevadas and talked about places he has visited, like Berkeley.   It apparently influenced people like Stephen King (The Stand, which I partly read last summer) and Jimi Hendrix, who said it was his favorite book.
